How does the EDS work on the site?

Colleagues, good day!
In general, the question is in the subject. They didn’t ban me on Google, but I didn’t find specifics on one stage of work.
As far as I understand, working in a browser with an EDS, using an example with authorization, happens like this:

  1. CryptoPro CSP is installed on the computer
  2. In the browser their own plugin
  3. A person, when authorizing, allegedly signs some field (is it possible to type = hidden? Or is the login-password mandatory?)
  4. The data goes to the server and something happens there. From now on, it is not clear what should happen

Do I need to install software on the server, or will the CryptoPro SDK in the form of a cadesplugin_api.js file do its magic by itself?
I didn’t come across the EDS question from this side, I ask for a detailed answer, or a link to an adequate detailed article (I didn’t see it on Habré), and don’t kick stones :)

Regarding authentication, here is an article on Habré: https://habr.com/ru/post/123372/, only in your case you do not need to generate keys yourself
. Accordingly, you will have to install CryptoPro CSP to verify the signature on the server. To sign chat messages and documents, the plugin and CryptoPro on the client will suffice.
There are examples of working with the plugin on the site: https://cpdn.cryptopro.ru/default.asp?url=content/... you can ask questions on their forum, they respond quickly
