How does Google Chrome store sessions and how can I copy them to another computer?

I read that chrome stores passwords, bookmarks, cookies here
c:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\
FireFox has its own folder.
When copying this folder to another computer, you can continue to work under the same account.
However, Chrome encrypts and simply copying the folder to another computer does nothing.
