How does data caching work? How to display frequently used tags for example?
How big giant sites (Torrent trackers, etc.) Display popular requests for tags and movies. Why are these processes so fast? As I understand it, they do not do constant data analysis, but are saved. And use the cache. And what if a new thing (trend) appeared in the network And the tags are all old. Please explain how everything works so quickly and smoothly? I could, as usual, access the database every time and do data analysis, BUT I wonder what will happen when there is a lot of data and users ... Thank you.

In giant sites, everything is much more complicated than a simple cache. But the cache is one of the first ways to optimize.
What you described is solved by warming up the cache. Warming up is filling the cache with up-to-date data without user actions.
