How does -cp Linux/Java work?

Hello, I can not find in any way what -cp means and how to use it.
The problem is that it is not possible to run applications separately. Is it possible somehow through one jar'nick to run two more? Well, or, for example, to glue them somehow into one (attempts were unsuccessful - I also edited MANIFEST).
