I changed the password from the mail, now letters from mail events are not sent. Emails are sent using CEvent::Send.

Where can I change the password for mail in Bitrix so that letters start sending again?

If you have a Bitrix VM, then instead of the classic smtpd, msmtpd is used, which can only send from an external server with a login and password, in short, it only proxies from it.
we correct here
/home/bitrix/.msmtprc
nothing needs to be restarted the config is re-read at each sending.
