How does Bitnami Redmine win 7 and git communicate || svn?

We raised redmine in the office on Windows 7.
Who does not know: here .
There was a need to enable file storage on it (possibly with version control).
In Administration -> Settings -> Repositories there are checkboxes for SVN and Git and Filesystem. The rest are not available. It looks like they are installed but not configured.
Can you tell me how they connect? Can I upload files through the web interface? Or just read, and fill in somehow differently?
