How does bank card validation work?
Good evening gentlemen!
Very often, when filling in payment data, for example, on Google Play, we can notice how it determines which payment system the card belongs to, and if we enter random numbers, it will notify us that such a card does not exist (apparently, it cannot exist in principle).
I really want to try to implement such a system myself, but I don’t quite understand which way to look. I heard that hashes are used there, but hashes of what? Absolutely all the entered data?
Hint me at the material that needs to be studied, but there is no need to give specific solutions, I really want to dig :)
