I read various resources, but I can’t fully understand the very essence (grain). Suggest a resource or share your knowledge on this topic. Just more abstract. on examples from the world :)
Thank you!

Exactly the same as your brains when copying a lecture:
at the same time, the information bypasses your consciousness, moving immediately into a notebook.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ so, I mixed it up with DMA (DMA), but they ask about USART
Did you read the article on the wiki? The algorithm of work is described in detail there:
Actually there is nothing more to add here. Specify the question.
An example is this: two neighbors in neighboring dorm buildings.
One constantly yells AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA .....
The second one constantly happens to her. When the op changes to OOOO, she sets the alarm for a specific time.
When the alarm rings, she writes down which letter she hears. If she still hears OOO, she sets the alarm again, then it rings, she writes down the letter....
And so 9 times, until all the bits have been transmitted.
After the last bit, the transmitting neighbor yells AAAAAAA again
