How does a laptop behave when the matrix cable is turned off?

If you start a laptop with the matrix cable disconnected from the motherboard, what will happen? Does the laptop start up normally and let you display the image through the vga\hdmi outputs? Or is he checking this moment?

It all depends on the specific node. Anyone will start and start loading, but whether it will display the picture immediately or only after loading to the desktop and activating firewood, this already depends on the specific model. Most, if you turn off the matrix cable, then immediately output the picture to any other available source (if they understand that it is connected, and all video outputs have a feedback connection, whether the laptop checks them, it depends on the model and on the BIOS settings, in the laptop these settings can not be editable and fixed, and if there are several different outputs, then one can show immediately, and for example, in another way only after loading the system with firewood)

Actually the same as with the matrix, only the image will be on the external output. It happens when the screen is completely broken, then it prevents the laptop from starting up more.

My laptop with hdmi connected only for a short moment flashes the main screen, and then immediately switches to the external one. Although perhaps it may depend on the BIOS in a particular model.

There was a similar experience. It also worked with the loop disabled. X

it should automatically pick up HDMI?
like no
, I have a laptop without a matrix .. I connected it to the TV and it didn’t do a damn thing automatically ... randomly poked .. and so the result was zero .. at least to switch just one key, you need to press it in normal working condition
