How do your testers work in the context of Continuous Testing?

Guys, give examples of how your QA works in the context of Continuous Testing.
That is, how tasks are assigned to testers, how and at what stage they check, and so on.
I want to see if there is something more comfortable than what I have. Because my version is clearly inconvenient.

The sooner you start to understand the code, the better. If the task is large, say, for a week, then on the second day a commit is made and the tester starts writing tests, delving into the code, and looking for logical errors.
