How do you store various cords and cables?
Ladies and Gentlemen.
The question is primarily for those who have a little bit of a workshop, or who likes to work with their hands :)
I have accumulated a fairly large number of all sorts of different cords: usb from phones and equipment, patch cords, power cords, etc., coaxes of different lengths.
Now they are all stored in a large box, but I want to somehow neatly lay them out so that I don’t have to look for the right cable every time.

I stick screwdrivers into the plasterboard wall and hang the most commonly used cables on them.
I have each cable neatly wound with a “figure of eight” and secured with a plastic tie (not tightly clamped so that it can be easily snapped off). Probably 20 cables. In this form, they do not take up much space in the nightstand.

I also have them lying around in a box in the closet, and I feel quite comfortable. I use them very rarely.
Frequently used wires, and this is micro usb for the phone and charging for headphones, are neatly lying around in the nearest bedside table.
In general, I try to reduce the number of wires: my headphones, keyboard and mouse are wireless.
My cables are coiled with bags and everything is in a box on the table. It would probably be inconvenient if I took them out often.
But I rarely take them out.
All the cables I use are plugged into the surge protector and the laptop docking station.
Accordingly, so that they are not visible, everything is under the table. And those that I use periodically - I hook the tip onto a clothespin.
