I'm building a module on Drupal 7, in the process of creation it became necessary to export/import its configuration.
All settings are simple text fields/selects. In the body of the module, I get their values ​​​​through variable_get (), and work with the received ones.

Question: What is the easiest way to create an export/import of module parameters? In which direction to dig? I'm trying to understand this guide, but it seems to me that it can be somehow simpler.
