How do you like the CS50 course and why can't I do the tasks?

Привет , начал смотреть курс CS50 Гарвард, Основы программирования, осень 2015 год.
Там идет сразу язык Си , вроде со синтаксисом понятно проблем нет но из задачников с их офф сайта смог решить только первые 2 задачи (если кто знаком то это пирамида из марио и расчет количества воды ) а дальше не смогу ничего выполнить , пересмотрел много раз 4,5,6 выпуск но так и не смог ничего сделать .
Но студенты их же делают и вот вопрос или я такой тупой или у них есть ещё курсы которые они проходят что смогли выполнять задачи из задачника ?

Видимо в курсе мало рассказывают конкретно об алгоритмах и структурах данных. Например решить задачу связанную и динамическим программированием или с поиском путей в графе без знания теории нереально.
