How do you defragment your knowledge?

Knowing many different technologies, what methods do you use for defragmentation? Or do you just use them all the time?

What I often use, I transfer to the cache. What I do not use, I archive and take to the basement, where it rots and is forgotten over time. I have hardware support built in for this.

I don’t even think about it, if necessary (without any HOW) I will apply it and that’s it

I keep printouts in folders with strings (I throw out old materials).
On the computer - a hierarchical structure. I indicate the year in the names of text files. In the Excel table, I sort by tags and the date of the last visit.
