How do you deal with overlaying a layer in photoshop?

Hello.
The fact is that the designer sent a layout to PS, where the images do not have the standard "usual" layer overlay.
How to save images with such overlays?
To make them look normal, other than a way to cut the element out of the layout itself.

I don't fight at all. This is a useful functionality that allows you to create different effects. But seriously, there are solutions.
If there is a link to a designer (or another designer at hand), then simply ask to flatten all non-normal layers into one layer/object. Not everyone realizes that blend modes and effects should only be applied to one final image when it comes to the web. So this is the task of the designer - to prepare everything for the layout designer.
If the situation is such that you need to do something yourself, then you will have to understand the source code.
a) It's good if everything is in folders, groups, masks, etc. dismantled. In this case, select graphics with a non-standard overlay + its background and merge (merge layers). If you haven't forgotten anything, then outwardly the picture will not change. If you forgot, we look for what we forgot and repeat, bringing it together. So we will have one layer with the mode normal, shred it properly and use it.
b) The alternative is a smart object. Essentially the same as the previous paragraph, but the layers do not merge into one layer, but merge into a smart object that can be edited if necessary.
c) If chaos is not grouped in the source, then I sympathize. You will have to dig around, clicking on the desired layers and looking for which ones still belong to the desired block. Not fatal, but it can take time. Next, also merge into one layer and work already with the normal blending mode.
More often they are too lazy to cut out the shadow and impose it with multiply. Here, only cutting out from the background and fitting it to the background of the site will save.
