How do you deal with blockages at work?

Good day to all.
It just so happened that the last 10 days I have had a terrible blockage both at work and in my own small website development business. There was too much going on all at once. How best to deal with all this?
Please do not offer to work at night (health is more important)

Plans, task lists, priorities - help, but still difficult.

Habr has already stopped reading too ;-)

1) Good nutrition (in the sense of healthy) + vitamins + L-carnitine (buy at any pharmacy) = +3 hours of work;
2) Sleep in the open air (for example, on a balcony) = -1.5 hours of sleep = +1.5 hours of work;
3) Wife to mom or on vacation = -1 hour for wife = +1 hour for work.

I work at maximum productivity, what I don’t have time for is simply postponed / canceled. You can’t do everything, you shouldn’t tear yourself, it’s fraught. If absolutely necessary, I finish it in the evenings (not at night) at home or in the office.

I usually do it simply: Armin Van Buuren in the ears, and forward, arbeiten, without being distracted by anything.

My solution is to combine projects at a certain level of abstraction into one, that is, the consolidation of work in several areas. The fact is that all the affairs in the world are actually one thing) Most of the time is lost switching between directions, and a person is most efficient and productive when he is busy with one thing. For example, if you have 20 programs / sites / projects in production, then the first thing is to stop making them as different, the second is to relax / get enough sleep (as mentioned above), 3 - to analyze the situation with a fresh mind and understand what the intersection of the projects is . Most likely it will turn out that it is possible to write a universal solution, improve the framework, make a tool common to all these projects, perhaps some of them are similar, for example, they are from the class of Internet commerce tasks,

The main causes of blockages are panic and fatigue. Panic occurs when on the third day you realize that you do not have time to do something. Throwing, hand-wringing, self-flagellation and so on begin. Stop freaking out, calm down. The quieter you go, the further you'll get. This is a very appropriate proverb in this situation.
Fatigue only exacerbates the panic. You need to take breaks, sleep an extra couple of hours a day. For example, I practiced double sleep. You come after work, eat, walk on the street for two hours (not at the computer), sleep for two hours (so as not to fall asleep hard, you can listen to quiet music), and then productive work until you feel like sleeping. Do not work in a somnambulistic state in any case - it only makes it worse.

If I have blockages, I usually go to bed very early and get up at 4-5 in the morning, I have time to do everything and even rest a little. If in the evening I start to rake, then I sit until the morning and do not get enough sleep. So if possible, work in the morning!

Sleep less.
ALWAYS get up early, in any way do not allow more than 8 hours of sleep / luxuriate in bed.
You will suffer for a week (in the limit - two) and enter the mode.
upon the onset of the effect / raking the work, it will be necessary to decide - life or work.
If life is to drink beer in the evenings and not dig in more, if work is to continue in the same spirit.

But no way. I have been in a state of permanent "blockage" for several years. The authorities always want a lot of things at once, but there is never enough hands and time. For this, I just try to be calmer about it.
It was advised above to switch between tasks when windows appear, for me personally this advice is a direct way to dig even deeper. I try not to be distracted for at least 4-5 hours from the currently selected task. Otherwise, I start jumping between tasks (which I don’t have less than three high-priority tasks at the same time, and plus a dozen secondary ones) and as a result, by the end of the day (day, several days, depending on how “trample”) it turns out that instead of at least where to move forward significantly, we have approximately the same ass on all fronts :/
