How do you backup Postrgesql databases?

Hello.
There is a server on FreeBSD with the 12th Postrgesql, it has several databases of different projects and sizes. The script that backed it all up broke. I didn't write the script, I probably won't be able to fix it. So the question is, how do you backup databases? Perhaps tell me how you can backup them not only locally, but immediately to another server?
