How do variants and 'data matching' translate in relation to functional programming languages?
There was a glitch with the translation of the next part about Ocaml. Problems with terms:
variation, data matching, pattern matching.
Context of use: www.ocaml-tutorial.org/data_types_and_matching

pattern matching - matching samples / patterns (almost everywhere I met such a translation)
Isn't a direct translation suitable in this context:
pattern matching - matching in actions; according to the operations performed
variants - the options are
concise and display the meaning)
I'm sorry, but we need established terms. Because if we translated touple like that, we would never get quite the standard term “tuple”. pattern matching will be something like “pattern matching”, but, I repeat, I don’t want to invent terms in an area that has long been established in the Russian language.
