How do maps work in gps games on Unity?
I have been puzzling over how to create a network game on gps for a day now.
I have a map in Unity3D, the player walks quietly on it, but how can I connect another player there so that we meet on the same map?
What you need for this: a server with a database, my map is powered by google api, it loads places from google, but it still doesn’t load my custom places, although I already added a bunch of places with a unique name and sketched them around my location by lat / lon ...
Tell me where to dig, please, I have never dealt with network projects in general, but here, as I understand it, you can just add places, and you can interact with them in the game, can you tell me some other asset instead of GoMAP or another map -api?
