How do Instagram likes and followers exchange services work?

As far as I know, instgram does not give its api to everyone, and tricks with the addition of __a=1 to the parameters do not display the latest likes and subscribers.
Do they really research the official application and use its methods?

there are already ready-made frameworks in general, if you do it in bulk, then they are not so expensive
