How do I set up auto format in a Google Sheets column?

There is a form that uploads phone numbers. The file where all this is loaded contains formulas (vpr and index + search), but they cannot work normally with the number format and you constantly have to manually change the column format from "Numbers" to "Text". Is there any technical possibility to set up automatic column formatting?

The option above did not work, BUT my friends and I found one interesting solution.
Added one extra column with the formula =ArrayFormula(RIGHT(TRIMSPACES(C$2:C);11))
which referred to a column with data in the wrong format
