How do I set up audio broadcasts for an internet radio station?
Hello!
The fact is that we are opening an Internet radio station. Which is already good. The bad thing is that we can't set up an audio broadcast.
In short, the scheme is as follows: microphone-audio interface (steinberg ur12)-voice meeter-radio dj-obs studio.
The stream itself is a broadcast on youtube, which goes to our site and is "disguised" as a player there.
So, if the music is still playing, then the sound from the microphone is also, but only mono. In addition, it is of poor quality, although our microphone is quite good. How to change it? And everything that sounds on the PC goes to the stream, this is also a minus, can I fix this?
And what do you think about this scheme, can you do something better? I saw on sites that you can somehow connect more DAW programs (for example, Adobe Audition), is it necessary?
Can anyone help with all of this? Or knows where to turn.
Thank you. Good luck to all

When we did the webinar, we also tried to use an audio interface (in fact, an adapter from Conon to USB), but we couldn’t achieve normal quality, and there was no volume level, although the microphone was quite normal. As a result, they did it in a completely different way: they took a simple three-channel mixing console, put microphones and a player playing music on its inputs, connected the output to a sound card (Creative, I don’t remember the exact model), which was already connected via USB to a dedicated computer with platform software webinar (it also had a webcam through which the video was streaming). In the course of preparation, we set up the required levels on the mixer for inputs and outputs, recorded their values and during the event simply worked with the knobs on the mixer.
