Good afternoon! I installed CentOs8.4 on the server, set up a network connection, but when I try to download any package, or just update yum, I get the error "failed to load metadata for the appstream repository" error 407. yum clean all, it did not help me. There is access to the network on the server. pings go to resources, tracing by domain name too. I don't use a proxy. please help to resolve this issue. I'm not a devops engineer and in general I'm not connected with it. just set a task for work.

1. It is not recommended to use Centos 8 if you do not want to sit on Centos Stream from the new year (if I do not confuse the terms). You need to use analogies.
2. Maybe then it was not necessary to take it - if these are not your duties?
3. Your AppStream repository database is not downloading - and there may be many reasons for this - problems with access to a particular site, DNS, firewall, selinux, in general, this repository may no longer work, etc.
