How do I export social media icons when they appear as a text layer in Photoshop?
Hello. I master layout. When laying out psd templates, I come across the fact that in Photoshop the icons of social networks are displayed as a text layer, and it is desirable that they be in svg.
If you try through export as... , then you still get a raster. Tried converting to smart object and then exporting via Export Contents... but PS outputs the file in native .psb format.
How to act in such cases?

You can try right clicking in the layers menu. Select Convert to shape.
Then select this shape and through File > Export > Path to Illustrator
