How do I deploy a react app with a backend?

If I understand correctly, backend and frontend react applications are two separate files that communicate with each other via AP, that is, by url, which each has its own. Apparently, on the same hosting and on the same domain, the front-end and back-end will not take root. Here's my own question. When uploading a project, will I need to buy a domain for the frontend and backend? And how can I better connect them so that left people cannot get data from the backend? Thanks in advance

No, it doesn `t need. Everything lives perfectly on the same hosting and domain.
