How do I create a library in android studio?

Hello! I need a library to work with websocket
Downloaded the project here
But it's in the source code, how can I include it in my project? Maybe in android studio you can somehow create jar files?
If you can advise a good library for working with ws, please tell me!

It hasn't been updated in over a year, and as the README says:
The author links to his new library , and it already has the required gradle dependency.

Isn't it easier to create a Maven Project and pull dependencies?
