How do I connect a server to a cluster?
Hello! During the absence of an IT specialist, an acquaintance asked me to "be on duty" in one small company. I myself have been interested in IT technologies for a long time, but I have never been so close to serious server solutions :) If it's not difficult, share your advice with a noob :)
There are 5 servers combined into one cluster (I hope I speak correctly). They are running Hyper-V. 2 out of 5 servers are faulty: one under number 2 has a faulty motherboard and RAM, on the other under number 5 only 2 hard drives are faulty. I was given carte blanche, but just do not touch the other 3 servers.
I took two hard drives from server #2 and moved them to #5. I went into the BIOS, according to the manuals from the IBM website, combined them into RAID1 and virtual disk No. 0. Initialized via slow initialization.
And then he fell into a stupor. In the bios in the boot menu virtual. there is no disk. The server starts, starts to boot from the network, and of course nothing happens.
What do I need to do next? Install software from IBM, install windows server or are there other solutions?
I will be very grateful for the answer to the children's question. Thank you!

close the door to the server room from the outside and don't touch anything....
Why did you do RAID1? Is this the configuration of the disks on the other servers in the cluster? Usually, servers for virtualization are assembled more or less the same way, but they all have the same task - to run virtual machines. So you need to, roughly speaking, repeat everything that is done on working machines.
