How do I change the set of elements inside a JFrame?

Hello.
I have JFrame. I want the current set of items to disappear and a second set of items to appear when the button is clicked on it. Accordingly, by pressing the "Back" button on the second set of elements, it would return to the first set. How to implement it correctly?
Is it worth it to use two JPanels for this and apply the appropriate setVisible() for them on button click?
