How critical is the use of filters for security in Laravel?

Tell me, if I don’t filter data from forms in Laravel at all, will the one that already exists by default be enough to protect against any injections, etc.?
I just don’t want to bother with this at this stage of development, or, for example, just shift the check of mandatory fields to the browser (I know that it’s easy to bypass it if you wish).
