How correct is it to use lists in tasks on arrays?

Hello! I rarely use arrays because I'm used to lists. But here, when solving problems, in the task we are talking about arrays (the programming language is not specified). And I thought, how correct would it be to use lists? I understand the difference between them, and in my opinion, with super small projects, the boundaries (except for the name of the methods) are erased. I would be grateful if you explain why I'm right / wrong. Thank you!
