How can you make money with development?

Hello. I have a year of experience in Swift development for iOS. But due to the account ban by Apple, I thought about other possibilities for realizing myself as a programmer. What options exist? I like to work alone, for myself. I want to be independent and make money at the same time. What are the options here? Freelancing is not interesting. I want to do my own projects.

Do you want to work for yourself, to be independent, not to work as a freelancer and for your uncle and make good money, but you don’t know what is needed for this?
I have an answer for you!
To do this, you need to learn how to do business. Just go and study. just like everything else. Customers, market, marketing, income-expense, risks, planning, that's it. This has nothing to do with development, and the toaster is not the resource where this will be taught.
It's all boring, dreary and you don't want to spend your life on it? Welcome to the office/freelance where other uncles have already spent their years for you, pulling all this boring stuff themselves and leaving you only interesting programming tasks.
You can also try to win the lottery - either by buying sports lotto tickets, or by making some kind of your own service / application at random and trying to sell them to someone. In general, the chances plus or minus are the same.

If you want to do it, do it, what's the problem? That's just "to be independent" and "earn" at the same time is impossible. You either earn (on something or from someone) and then you depend on this earnings, because the source of income is not under your control (you play on the stock exchange, work for your uncle), or you are independent and receive income from something (from you a business controlled by you, for example)
Being independent and developing for your own pleasure (namely, this is how your Wishlist should be read) can only be afforded by those who have a good, stable, independent income - interest on deposits for example. Everyone else is either hired or freelanced.

Freelance

You can try to find an investor for your idea. To do this, all major software firms have project incubators.

Well, work for yourself, be independent and earn. Why ask here?
So what to do? I don't know. I was thinking about trying Android mobile development. Or some web application. But dont know.

Namely, this question is decided for you by the uncle for whom you need to work.
Either you KNOW how to make money and what to write, or you go to work for your uncle.

Do your projects alone, so much so that you can earn money with it? It looks like a utopia. Unless, of course, you have a million-dollar idea (and a couple of millions in your pocket). And if you want to work for yourself, then there is nothing to advise except freelancing

  1. Carry out work to order
  2. Develop and sell your program

Understanding will not come by itself until you start moving. Of course, you can do what is interesting (your projects) and wait for the money to appear (not soon), or start doing something that you don’t quite like (freelancing), but will give some kind of financial pillow for your projects.
