How can software updates be implemented?

Hi all. Probably a stupid question. But how can I implement software updates through the launcher. For example, I have a server and an updated version of the program is stored on it, how can I download only those files that have been updated? (In which there is a new/changed code). It's just not convenient if the program weighs, for example, 5 GB, then each time you download again 5 GB.

If you are having difficulty compiling a list of changed files with a new patch, then use the torret, it will do it for you.
