Somehow in one group they discussed the idea of a search engine - they blinded it in about an evening from shit and sticks and this miracle worked.
If you search directly by pictures, it will be more difficult, but nothing supernatural.
No CMS is needed here anyway.

Make your own engine, not with CMS. If a simple search for icons, then making your own move is as easy as shelling pears. And if you're lazy or a true coder, use the DataLifeEngine , a simple engine.

If you need a search by tags / keywords, then there is Sphinx, if you need a search by images, there is TinEye (it seems like stand alone they are not available only via API).

None. CMS is worth using if it completely solves your problem. Yes, there are guys that e-shops write on WP, this is definitely "cool", but there is nothing good in this (this is not the intended use).
You will not find a CMS specifically for your task, for the reason that the task is very specific. I do not recommend writing the search engine itself in php, in fact it is processing a large amount of data and php is NOT ok for this.
