Just a cheap kettle. There is a thermal switch there.

1) Arduino + servo. (press the button, return the servo to its original position)
2) Arduino + relay + temperature sensor (we throw out the native switch or turn on the relay in parallel, we control the temperature with the sensor, do not forget to install a fire alarm and a fire extinguishing system above the kettle)
3) Train the cat on voice commands to walk and turn on the kettle.
