How can I prevent putty from shutting down?

Hello, such a problem, if you do not touch the computer with putty connected to the server, for some reason it disconnects from the server.
I edited the apache config, was distracted for 5 minutes, there was no connection, I had to do it all over again, so tired of it already. help me please

Use screen or tmux on the server. Then any disconnection of the connection will threaten you, in the worst case, with a reconnect.
There is also such a thing - Mosh

I sometimes don’t close Putty for days on end, and the only thing that asks is to enter the sudo password
Do you accidentally break the connection from the server side?

By default, the firewall/NAT device terminates an inactive session after a certain amount of time. kinvlad suggested the right solution.

mosh is the coolest.
even on a bad internet - there is no annoying pensiveness, as in classic SSH (which putty also belongs to).
I have sites on mosh that have been online for months .
