How can I migrate from frontend to android?

I consider myself a middle+ frontend developer. Lately I've started to burn out in this area. I see more and more flaws in approaches and technologies. I would like to move on to a more structured and, as it seems to me, more interesting work from an architectural point of view. And also get away from the childish js and ts trying to improve it, which, for all its pluses, is never Kotlin or even dart.
I'm not afraid of oop and java, but I think Kotlin is generally the most beautiful language, I'm ready to spend a lot of time reading the docs.
Unfortunately, the prospect of cutting wages three times for an indefinite period is now stopping.
Tell me, if there are any ways to make this migration more painless, given the accumulated experience, albeit in a very different area?

Learn Kotlin first, and Java is just about support. If you want a good salary, learn Kotlin + Java.
