How can I make it so that I don't have to set write permissions?

Hello Toaster users
, I have vps installed on it apache2 php mysql (lamp)
when I set cms DLE it requires me to set write permissions 777 to some folders
and if I buy a host somewhere, then when I set cms DLE there I have rights to change no need there automatically everything is allowed
how can this be done

You can not mindlessly set the rights to 777. They are set manually once when installing the CMS only for those folders that are indicated in the instructions. For all other folders, permissions should be 755, for files 644

777 can not be set in principle. Especially files. Maximum 755/644 for directories/files resp.
Shared hostings have an FTP setting that sets the necessary permissions for files immediately after uploading.
