How can I influence the Facebook snippet when sharing a site page?

When a site link is published on Facebook (simply by copying the site address and pasting it into the appropriate Facebook field, that is, without using the Share or Like buttons (by the way, they are not on the site at all)), then images are not pulled from the site into the post. It turns out that Facebook publishes a post with a title, website address and a white field instead of the missing picture.
There are pictures on the site, but they are all in the background.
Question: how to fix it? Is there any software method to send a certain image from the site to the social network?
Googled, but didn't find anything.

That's right, you need to write open-graph tags on the page.
It is very easy to do, even by hand. Or you can try to find modules for your CMS (engine) that do this.
Here is about what kind of og-tags it is enough to specify so that everything is normal on Facebook, VKontakte and Twitter.
