How can I fix problems connecting a 32Gb flash drive in Debian Jessie?

Unable to mount flash drive of specified size in Debian. Silence in dmesg, as if nothing is connected. But! If you first insert a smaller USB flash drive, and then it, everything works.

If there is nothing in dmesg, then the problem is not with Debian. Deal with your hardware, check the flash drive in another computer, and so on.
By the way, what is Debian in your case? Debian GNU/Linux? Debian GNU/Hurd? Debian GNU/kFreeBSD? It would be nice to specify what operating system you have, and not just who makes it.
