How can I find out what actions the application performs on my computer?

You need to find out what the application / client writes to the registry, and indeed to the computer.
I found out what can be monitored using the debugger, chose Windbg, downloaded the latest version.
I immediately ran into a problem, the program allowed me to select one of the running applications, after selection, debugging began, the application hung, and Windbg gave the error "The parameter is incorrect. (0x80070057)"
I could not find a lot of information, did not solve the problem.
Can anyone tell me how I can find out in real time what the application is doing on my computer?
