How can I find out an incoming or outgoing letter using the IMAP protocol?
I receive mail via IMAP from a gmail server.
There are many folders:
[0] => INBOX
[1] => Notes
[2] => Sent
[3] => [Gmail]/Important
[4] => [Gmail]/All Mail
[5] => [Gmail ]/Trash
[6] => [Gmail]/Sent
[7] => [Gmail]/Started
[8] => [Gmail]/Spam
[9] => [Gmail]/Drafts
[10] => Personal
[ 11] => Traveling
[12] => Work

1) How can I find out if a letter is incoming or outgoing?
Of course, you can look at the sender's email, if mine is outgoing, if not, then incoming, but there is a second question.
2) If I connect to the mail through the account [email protected], and I also have an account [email protected] added to the mail. And I can send a letter from [email protected] to [email protected], how in this case can I determine whether it is outgoing or incoming?

You are unlikely to move emails from inbox to sent, as well as vice versa. And Gmail doesn't let you do that either.
Check if there is a letter in the "Sent" folder. If it is, then it has been sent. If not, incoming.
