How can I control the touchpad LED on a Dell v131 laptop?
I have a Dell v131 laptop. It has a function to disable the touchpad, Fn + F3. After turning off, a light comes on above the touchpad. What is the problem. The driver is not updated, but I want a new version. If you download a new driver + software from the touchpad manufacturer's website, the disable function does not work. I solved this issue. I downloaded the SDK for the touchpad, read the docks and wrote a tool that disables the touchpad using Fn + F3. Only now, the light still does not light up.
I want to hear advice on which way to dig, or maybe someone has already scoffed and will give a specific answer? There is an old version of the driver from Dell, in which Fn + F3 works and the light is on. I tried to watch the DLLs that are in the software folder using the DLL Explorer, but I didn’t seem to find anything like that.
I have an idea, if I find how to turn on or turn off the light bulb, I'll teach useful software. Type of notifications of all sorts and so on.
