There is a key to the machine for pouring drinking water.
The essence of the key is that it stores information about the number of the key and how many rubles are currently on the account of this key.
The key is presented in the form of a conventional intercom magnetic key.
I tried to read information from the key, there are a lot of different data in HEX format.
How can I change, for example, the balance on this key?

I think it's not just a key... Otherwise, it would be possible to brute force access to other keys - and rob them. I am inclined in favor of two-factor authorization - for each key there is a password and not only the presence of the key is checked, but also the correspondence of the key password from the database to the real key.
