How can I change the display of the vue-flatpickr-component?

I am using the component https://www.npmjs.com/package/vue-flatpickr-component. Only the config itself changes and the value in the input, but the calendar is not redrawn. How can I make the calendar redraw.
I change the config via watch. How can I dynamically change the calendar to a timer and vice versa
