You can place an obstacle around the players. Then they will not pass through them. Now, if for these obstacles you can set the cost of passing through them, then the agents will move along the roads as a priority, avoiding difficult areas. The navmesh in the game is baked according to the generated map, so you cannot designate the area in advance
