How can I add a folder to Git's menus through the VS code interface?

all folders except client are added to the changes, and I need to add everything. in the client there is a react and it has its own gitignor. please tell me what to press so that this folder starts to be displayed and changes.

Edit the gitignor. Remove something, add something. As you need.
