How can a model associate a display shape (polygon, line, point) with an element?

I am building a logical model for the subsequent preparation of a weather data storage database model. It is necessary to store and display data on the map as a point, line or polygon and display values (see picture).
Description:
There are weather elements: Temperature, Fog, Wind speed....
There are display parameters: Polygon, Point, Line
Ie . there is a weather element with the specified display settings on the map. For example:

  • Temperature - displayed as a dot on the map. Example: Temperature 20 degrees at a specific coordinate point (X, Y)
  • Fog is displayed as a polygon (see picture)

A polygon and a line have almost the same attributes (line order, line color and thickness), while a point has its own attributes.
There was a stupor, how to connect weather elements (fog, temperature, wind speed) with their display parameters?

Spatial meteorological phenomena are usually displayed as isolinear fields. Or in the form of areas with a smooth variable background (it is easier to build).
All this applies to GIS systems and a huge variety of methods and libraries for the implementation of graphics have been developed.
True, the classical version of the GIS system does not imply dynamic images, the maximum is the construction of information slices for different points in time for a single geographical region.
Or you can simply use GeoServer, into which only geometry is loaded, and it displays the statistics itself, from the received data
