How can a Frontend developer implement Backend for his project?
I know Front-End(Backbone, React, Ember, Angular), I don't know Backend. I want to implement a REST application. It would be logical to learn one of the languages that are used on the backend, databases, web servers, etc. Is there a way to speed up / simplify this, since there is always not enough time. I know a little node.js, but I have no combat experience. What do you advise, gentlemen?

You can try another thing like 'Backend as service' - for example Firebase or Cosmic JS (I really liked the second one, but didn't use it in real life)
Take a lightweight, well-documented micro-framework and build your own backend using examples.
For example, in php: Slim or Lumen .
If you need to quickly and already have a good knowledge of JS, then you can take something on the node
REST is complicated and not convenient
for enlightenment, read my article about the backend one day
later, if you wish, add functions for working with the database
node + express / koa
I did it myself on express, if something is not much more complicated than crud, then it will do)
Node + Express/Sails . It’s a little easier on Sails, but I didn’t use it in combat conditions.
Express is for all occasions
With this I can
I know Front-End (Backbone, React, Ember, Angular),, I have eyes of 100 kopecks and the question is, how then can you not know how to backend or not understand how to understand it ..... if (obscene expression removed), there are frameworks with a high threshold of entry in the list .... or the author the most natural (obscene expression removed) or others, or there can’t be ... I
I know a little node.js,, yes the author is natural (obscene expression removed). If he knew him, he wouldn’t write, but he would sit and dig .... google what doesn’t work, but only then he would write about what doesn’t work .... and not such nonsense ...
