How can a beginner in IT get into Machine Learning?
Good day to all! Guys, do not judge strictly, but imagine the following situation: a young talent, after reading Lutz, watching a couple of YouTube channels on Python, gained some basic knowledge of this language and now wants to get a job. Knowing that it is already difficult for a beginner to get a job, the talent still really wants to get into the field of Machine Learning as an intern with the prospect of doing Computer Vision. Kill me, but for some reason I don’t feel like writing webcams and applications, I even want to do more research work than directly developing a product. But experience in this area is ready to receive in any position.
Tell me, is it realistic to start a career in IT with machine learning or will it still require a lot of experience in programming?
PS algorithms, linear algebra and everything else in the process of learning. I would like to hear from you about the future as a whole. But if you advise something to study further, I will be glad to your advice.

It looks like a strange question.
What does Lutz (a very good book, by the way) or "a couple of YouTube channels" (here the quality is unknown and most likely doubtful) have to do with machine learning. This area is first machine learning, and only then Python, C # or something else. Therefore, the question was raised incorrectly - if you want something related to "research work," then you need to start with machine learning. And if you aspire to a position related to ML, then this is exactly what will be required, and experience with Python is in addition. However, there is a chance to do not Data Science, but Data Engineering - but this is still programming, and not machine learning itself, well, just Python alone will also not be enough and you will have to dig towards Computers Engineering.
On the "learn more" part, there are some good books to get you started on getting into ML "from the Python side":
Van der Plas. "Python for complex tasks. Data science and machine learning".
Joshi P. "Artificial Intelligence with Python Examples".
Coelho L.P. "Building Machine Learning Systems in Python"
Rashka S. Python and machine learning.
Silen D., Meisman A. "Fundamentals of Data Science and Big Data. Python and Data Science."
Schollet F. "Deep Learning with Python"
Muller A. "Introduction to Machine Learning with Python"
et al.
Look, read, think. Decide whether it is yours or not, and whether it is for you.
You don't need to know how to program to work with neural networks. grab tensorflow and start experimenting with it. there are many other ready-made packages. a lot of guides
