How are things going with web development and programming on Mac Os?

I would like to buy a Macbook, and I'm interested in a hundred. What's the deal with web development and Mac programming? Are there any problems, or vice versa, positive aspects? Is it worth it to do both on a Mac?

Things are going great (even on MB Air mid 2012). The only problem is the price :)

The vast majority of developers I know, and myself, sit on macbooks. Even dotnetchiki, with Windows in parallels, no matter how wild it sounds.
